I decided to write Arduous Pursuit about two months ago with another idea in mind. Of course the characters’ personalities were the same but the circumstance was a bit different. Yes, Jade was to be the “damsel in distress” but so was Heath in his own way. Both of them were ‘crying’ out against the roar of life’s laughter as it messed with their future, their present, their past.
